Upcoming art exhibits showcase Camosun’s emerging visual artists

OUT OF THE GREY— April 16 – 19, 2015 featuring Camosun’s first-year Visual Arts students

WITHIN THE MENAGERIE— April 25 – 29, 2015 graduation exhibition—a capstone presentation

Students of Camosun’s influential Visual Arts program showcase their works in TWO year-end exhibits. The shows explore a variety of mediums, including ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, performance, film and sculpture.

Out of the Grey showcases the artistic talents and accomplishments of first year Visual Arts students.

  • Opening reception: April 16, 7-10pm
  • Exhibit continues: April 17, noon-10pm; April 18 and 19, noon-6pm
  • Venue: Young Building 111, 117, 216 and the Visual Arts Annex at the Lansdowne campus

Within the Menagerie reflects the diverse backgrounds, interest and creative approaches of 12 graduating artists. During their time in the intensive two-year foundations program, students developed their own artistic styles through interdisciplinary work and experimental expression.
